The lack of smoke these days is indeed troubling and disorienting. But it is still the best place to get a stiff one to start the workday right!

Starting in about three weeks, all the regulars and employees who’ve been smoking and drinking here for years will have to leave the premises whenever they want to light up, or they’ll face a fine payable to the state government. Leave the premises of the dive bar hangout they created, shared, and paid taxes on for decades, the name of which is The Smoke Shop. Healthy, yes. Odd, no?
