Windorco

It’s not a Window company for dorks. It’s a Window and door company and it’s run by Greg, his wife and son. I’ve had most of the windows in my house custom made by Windorco. They rule. Windorco strikes that wonderful balance between fair pricing (much less expensive than other quotes), quality (without going nuts) and diligent installation. Plus, they’re nice peeps.

But probably the most interesting thing about Windorco is that the owner, Greg, is a Hammond B3 organ enthusiast. In fact, we once traded one of my B3s for 3 large wood windows on the South side of my house which he built and installed. But you should have seen this B3—it was in excellent cosmetic and working order and just about as sweet as they come. Greg is truly a great resource for any Hammond B3 questions, maintenance or modification tips or trivia.
