I was fortunate to attend Michigan Tech University in Houghton and explored all of the surrounding area. From Caves and Mines, to Mountains, waterfalls, fishing, hunting and limitless Camping, there maybe no better places. A world unto itself, the locals are friendly, the atmosphere is unique and the beer is plentiful. Truely a special place thta one must spend some time to enjoy over 4 years agoHoughton by ihatebananasI live about 20 minutes north of Houghton, but I attend MTU. It’s really a great place. I loved the climate and people here. I lost touch with a friend that I made here.
