Ideal months to make a trip to Thrissur:

April-May – Thrissur Pooram, believed to be the festival of gods. Once you witness it, you will never ever forget in your life.

August-September – Pulikkali, where many people dress up like tigers and the hunter tries to capture them. Just an act. Worth watching! This event occurs on the fourth day after Onam festival. You cannot see pulikkali anywhere else in Kerala. It belongs to Thrissur.

Visit Thrissur in April, you just cannot miss Thrissur Pooram!
