There are wonderful trails that take you down the hill experiencing the different levels of terrain. Take the opportunity to see the stars at night through a telescope. Visit the local lavender farm on the way up the hill in kula. Eat lunch at the Kula lodge. If I go back to Maui I’ll be staying up here and at the 7 pools as much as possible! over 3 years agoNext I want to get there by Zazumba 08at sunrise and then do some hiking. I’ve NEVER seen anything like the sunrise from the crater. It was truly amazing! You’re above the coulds, and you watch the sun come creeping over. I just can’t explain how beautiful it was.
