New Iberia

This is where my father’s family is from. I worked out of the port here when I was in the Merchant Marine.

Folks are so kind here. The park is the most awesome park I have ever experienced! The giant magnolia trees add an air of the south which is priceless.

There are plenty of things to do while in this area. Lots of history to be experienced all throughout southern Louisianna.

I have many happy, wonderful memories of this city…and someone who was there…
