Brodheadsville

i dont really remember much other than we had fun. it was when i was younger. i have family that lives near there.

such a silly little place. very small population, a few years ago i believe it was about 1,000. there really isn’t much to do for teens. drugs are high in and around the area among the local kids. kinda sad. it was hard having a good encounter with the rest of the local people. lived there for about 12 years, and i moved there from brooklyn, NY so the locals didn’t like us too much. too many gossipy and self-concerned people. no such thing as a solid tight-knit community…. and if there was, chances are everyone was either talking about everyone else behind their backs or finding ways to be better than each other. i dunno, overall a sort of twighlight zone feel. but it has it’s ups. it’s peaceful, beautiful, lots of wildlife. there ARE good people and i was lucky to find a good bunch of them. it definitely has potential. i would tell people to visit just to give that town some hope and some good outside perspectives of life and all.
