Fabulous Fox Theatre

I watched a Marylin Manson concert here.

It’s amazing. I can’t wait to see Phantom of the Opera there because it completely reminds me of the opera house where phantom takes place.

I’ve seen Jethro Tull and Trey Anastasio there. Very cool place to see a concert. I’ve also seen some plays and such there, but don’t recall which ones :-)

The fox used to be a movie theatre, but now it’s where the touring Broadway shows play when they come to St. Louis (although they did play White Christmas a few years back on a giant screen, and that was a neat experience). It’s very ornate and the tour is worth it.

“No longer need residents of St. Louis look beyond their own city for the finest entertainment.” This statement was coined by the William Fox Circuit of Theatres in 1929 for the opening of their newest, most exotic temple of amusement, and it still holds true!
