Worth visiting!

Good, and fairly convenient, with a great wine selection

However, places I prefer in the DC region for Italian: 2amys, Il Pizzico, Olazzo, and Bebo. I haven’t been to Sorisso, and Maestro doesn’t really count. However, like I said, their wine selection is pretty hot. I recommend the ‘wine Wednesdays’.

A review of this place: A great "middle-range" Italian restaurant!

DC has always had Galileo-class Italian restaurants. Prix-Fixe, $100+ / person, etc.

Below that there were no other options until you get to the glorified Olive Garden style places. Mediocre food, over-emphasis on South Italian cuisine, no wine list worth mentioning.

Well, there are now two great places to go out to, within a block of the Uptown; Sorisso and this restaurant, Dino.

I specifically recommend the Proscuitto appetizer and the “Nutella Panini” dessert.

N.B. They do take reservations now. (They did not before)
