Cafe Nola

Daniel Spils and I walked in, and asked to see the menu. All good. The person we talked to mentioned that some of the items on the menu would not be available due to the power outages from a few days ago. We decided to eat there anyway.

Problem was: Daniel and I were there before 4 PM, and they open at 5 PM for dinner, so we couldn’t eat there, but I’d definitely go back to eat there.

Good food during Sunday brunch, but the service was very slow. I think it may have been just our particular waitress though, so I’d still recommend it. You can walk here from the ferry.

I stopped by here for brunch a few weeks ago while waiting for the ferry. I remember the food being fine, although not perhaps as great as the articles and reviews I read on the wall while waiting to be seated. I guess I should check the place out again if I am around for dinner.

I do remember that the bathrooms were really quite nice and clean… always surprising and notable for restaurants.
