Upstate

I went to see my sister and her family. while it was great to see everyone (especially how big the kids have gotten) it was very nice to come home again.

There are a lot of lovely little places to shop, mind-numbingly lovely state parks with slate waterfalls and ice cold creeks littered with wildflowers, and a relaxed attitude among the people. You won’t catch a lot of pompous windbags up here.
