The Alley Cantina

Try the coconut shrimp! Yum.

This place has the reputation of being a little bit rowdy. The crowd here is younger than in the Adobe Bar, or the Anaconda Lounge. They always charge a door fee when there is live music here, and their fees are pricy. The place is also supposedly haunted by a girl in a white dress.

Me and a certain celebrity both got married in Taos. The Alley Cantina is the joint for the party the night before.

Fun in a sort of perverse, uber-touristy way, but you can find better food almost anywhere.

The Alley Cantina is off the main old towne square…it has the best flat chicken enchildas made with blue corn tortillas.
