Kingfish Cafe

I was craving Southern-style food and decided to give this place a try last night. Although my dinner was tasty, I thought it was way overpriced. $15 for fried chicken is redonk, even with the side of mashed potatoes and collard greens. So I’ll probably try this place again for brunch/lunch and see what I think.

The mixed drinks, however, were worth the cost. I had two drinks and was pretty happy-drunk by the time I left.

The brunch is great. Don’t forget to diet before and after. Great place for dinner as well!

This is one of my favorite places in Seattle for Sunday brunch. There is something to be said for rich, tasty, fatty comfort food even if it’s bad for you. Parking is relatively easy to find in this area (unusual for Capitol Hill) and waiting time for a table is decent. Service isn’t fantastic but it’s decent.
