So much fun here. I’ve been here dozens of times, my best memory is back during a spring break. A bunch of us just jumped in the car and we ended up here. We checked into a hotel with hot tub and the next morning we were riding horses along the gorgeous beach. Plenty to do here. Even flying a kite is fun. Oh and you can also drive on the beach too.

Fond Memories by Carm

I have many fond memories of Ocean Shores. When I was a little girl I got to spend a week each summer with family friends at Ocean Shores. I remember getting up before dawn to go clam digging with the adults, playing with other kids my age in the sand (burying each other and chasing each other), building sand castles, visiting a shipwreck, eating lots and LOTS of razor clams and generally enjoying a carefree fun time.

Recharge your batteries by Gertie

I’d love to go to Ocean Shores either AFTER Labor Day (or before Spring Break) when it was quiet. There is something about walking along the windy beach, with the waves splashing around your ankles and the wet sand squishing between your toes, that is so relaxing. It was fascinating how it would look exactly the same everytime, and yet it was also completely different.

Sand. by jealousy

Can’t remember much except the sand was cleaner than Alki’s.

I want a mocha from the IGA... by carpenoctem

With a cup of hot coffee in my had I watch the sun melt lazily over the Pacific Ocean. How I miss it… Though it is a tourist town, it is rather quiet. Most of the residents are retired (and waiting to die). I would never give up the three years of my life that I spent there. I felt that I was on vacation the entire time. (Even though I was going to school, working, and such.) You must go there………and buy lots of salt-water taffy.
