this time I went all around the Abbey (wow), but as it was Sunday and there were services being conducted, I was unable to view inside. Guess 3rd time will be the charm…

Worth visiting!
Located in city centre, the abbey origins date back to 1163. William Wallace was educated there, and Robert the Bruce’s daugher died there in 1316.
I didn’t get a chance to walk in or around it today, so I plan to go back. What I did see, however, presented a great example of true old world charm.
