Paisley Farmers' Market

The Farmers’ Market in Paisley is held on the last Saturday of the month, although they seem to appear every fortnight. There are many of these markets held regularly all over Scotland. Lots of fresh and organic produce from local farms. I picked up a duck for roasting, some butter tablet, giant garlic bulbs, cheese and duck eggs. The only downside was that I had to get out of bed early on a Saturday to get there for the stalls opening.

It’s small, so you think you can see everything in a matter of minutes; but slow down and thoroughly browse, you’ll be surprised what you discover.
