The last time I went to this place
Was yesterday, Tuesday May 29th, 2007. The park was closed due to the extreme amount of rain and the forcast calls for more of it. It’s a pretty place, esp if you like to camp. It’s not expensive and it makes for a nice family place.

Why I want to go to this place
We are going Nov 17th-19th! I cannot wait and I am afraid if I go I may not come back from all the wonderful things I have heard about this place. I am a photographer so I will probably have plenty of things to shoot. 15 days away and I cannot wait!

A review of this place
Sooooo scenic! I looove Turner Falls. The Arbuckle Mts are worth hiking as well.
This place is sooo beautiful! Sometimes in fall the water is overgrown with algae and leaves, but JUST DON’T GO in fall! =D Its most beautiful in spring/summer!

10 Reasons to go to Turner Falls
10. The water is so cold that your teeth chatter when it is 100 degrees outside.
9. The water is so clear that a little girl dropped her ring in 5 feet of water and we could all see it at the bottom.
8. The falls are 75 feet high and just inspiring!
7. You can hike up through caves to the top of the falls!
6. Don’t miss the “castle”. You have to climb about a billion steps to get to the top but it is worth it!
5. It’s great fun just to watch everyone trying not to fall on the slippery rocks – TAKE WATER SHOES!!!
4. Short drive to Davis, and don’t miss the river canoe rides!
3. You can climb up a tree that hangs over the most perfect 12 foot deep “swim hole”. It’s crystal clear, freezing cold and very secluded. It’s Turner Falls best kept secret. The locals will tell you where it is, but it will probably cost you a beer.
2. All primitive camping – it’s what seperates the women from the girls
1. The source of the falls is Honey Creek. It’s why a trip to Turner Falls is sooo sweet!
Have a great time!
