Changes - It's Been a While by russellviii

I hadn’t been to the Oklahoma State Capitol in a number of years, probably since the late 1980’s.

To the best of my recollection, the state capitol building didn’t have a dome on it the last time that I was there.

I paid a visit to the capitol, just to kill some time one evening on my last visit to Oklahoma City. I was there in the evening and the building itself was closed. I had been inside once previously and was favorably impressed. This time I just walked around the exterior of the building, admiring the architecture and reading the various plaques around the building. One of the unusual things about this captiol building is the oil wells that are on the grounds.

I work close to the capitol and drive by it daily. Been inside many times. Very well kept and worth seeing.
