A tip I have about this place

This is no longer located here! It’s moved to the west end of Toronto, on Croatia St.

The RCM is located right next to the museum.

A place with a labyrinth of creaky stair cases with the paint peeling and fuzzy windows. Sit outside at Philosopher’s Walk and you used to be treated with hearing people singing or instruments playing.

I think this place has been evacuated during the facelift and construction of a concert hall on the grounds. The RCM services now have been reloacted to a high school building at Dufferin and Bloor. Buy sheet music there.

haven't been back for years

but this is where i used to take my piano examinations…kind of daunting really, with the old architecture, and walking down the hallways hearing kids playing the same songs before you…hearing them flub it or play it flawlessly
