Great for visitors and locals by MFM
If you take friends who are English for a walk on the Freedom Trail you can tease them. They probably won’t think it is funny (mine didn’t).

Boston, proper, is not all that large, it’s a very compact city. In other words, you will need the best walking shoes you can find. Don’t even attempt to drive your own car, there won’t be any place to put it once you get there. Besides, it defeats the whole purpose of going to a beautiful city like Boston anyway. You really should walk so you can have plenty of time to get a good look at the buildings and parks. They keep the city amazingly clean and everything is gorgeous! And eat the fresh seafood, and go to little Italy on Hanover street for Italian and Mike’s Pastry and then China town for chinese…Take a harbor tour, there are wonderful museums, lots of shopping, take a break in Boston commons…the list is endless! You’re going to love Boston-see ya there! over 5 years agoUntitled by Phil ZampinoIf for no other reason, the historical value of this place makes it worth visiting. over 6 years agoA Lots of history!! by bitterwheatThe people of Boston are the best!
