Berea

A newspaper in Ohio last year wrote, (and I’m not verbatim here) that if the entire earth were to be destoyed, only berea would need to survive to populate the Earth and maintain the cultural diversity of it. That says someting, as least I think that says something. This little hole-in-the-wall town has diversity enough that it is nvere boring, yet maintains the hown home feeling of a small community.
As a child, all I wanted to do was get out of this dump, now that I am grown, I have bought a home, had children and decided that there would be no other place that I would want my family to be than here.
I would stongly suggest a visit the Berea. There’s no place quite like it.

berea is an interesting place to grow up- really it is a treasure. in a way it seems there is nothing there, no malls or theatres or anything, but what we had there was a great deal of arts and crafts and culture not found many places. i attended berea college and it was both one of the hardest and best experiences i’ve had.

I spent a weekend here forever ago it seems when I was deciding on schools. But I needed my car way to much!!

Episcopal Youth Event 2005 was held here.
