Gan Meir

A very sweet recreational garden at the old heart of Tel-Aviv-Yafo.

Named after the city’s first mayor, Meir Dizengoff, this garden has been here since the days of British Mandate.

It’s a lovely spot to rest yourself after an afternoon of shopping in the city’s center. With a bit of luck you might find a band playing in the park’s gazebo.

..that my mom tells stories of how they used to play in this garden when they were kids.
