Mickey's Diner

Mickey’s health took a turn for the worst so she and the family closed this restaurant. It has now been sold and a new restaurant.

My wife and I were in “Coudy” and we didn’t want to stop at the stinkin’ McDonalds for breakfast when I saw “Mickeys”. The place looked decent enough from the outside so we went in. I had the ham and cheese omelet with home fries and toast and the wife had SOS. The food was plentiful and tasty and the price was reasonable. But, as with all restaurants that allow smoking, as soon as the food got on the table, the smokers all lit up. I hate cigarette smoke when I am trying to eat. I would go there again but would try to sit away from everyone in case someone tried to kill me with cigarette smoke.

Okay, so if you see Mickey you may not want to eat here, but she makes great breakfasts all day and the fresh baked goods are wonderful. Service sucks, and you have to put up with smokers, but if you focus on the food it’s worth it.
