Why else would I go to a Quaker town!??

This town was named for John Greenleaf Whittier, famous poet and Quaker. This town originated as a Quaker settlement. It is not very exciting here. Even in Los Angeles, people don’t know where it is. Fun places in Whittier:

...was to see the v. good Smiths/Moz tribute band the Sweet and Tender Hooligans, who were playing a show here slightly randomly. And the show was good. Beyond that, I have nothing to say about Whittier.
