Interesting place by matt5522
I had a few hours to kill on a business trip to Rome and we were in Syracuse so we went to the Erie Canal Museum. It was small but actually quite interesting and educational. I grew up in Montana and had heard of the Erie Canal as a school boy, but really had no idea where it went or when it was built, I assumed that it probably had some connection to Lake Erie, although I really had no idea where that was either.
