Sadly, I visited a former resident of mine who was doing time for Medicare fraud.

He was in the “county club” of correctional facilities, and it’s still jail time.

I grew up in Taft. Watched it deteriorate before my eyes. My friends became enemies and enemies became friends. Learned there’s always a way, and to never give up. I’m glad I left. But I miss it.
