Boone Plantation

A beautiful home but you can only tour the downstairs. The slave houses are amazing to see, and they have an awesome restaurant. Also for all you fans of the film The Notebook, some of it was filmed here.

Although the original family no longer lives there, the original slave cabins are still up. They give you a tour of the mansion, and then you get to walk the premises and go inside the cabins. I picked cotton for my scrapbook. This is also where part of the movie North and South was filmed.
