Liberty Island

on a helicopter tour & had a great view! The pix aren’t so good,it was a drizzly day. Maybe next time we’ll take the ferry.

Liberty island sucks, but the statue of liberty is worth it. I just think it was crappy because we had to stand in line for about 3 hours just to get inside of the statue. It was so hot, and they had a tent set up to block the sun for about 1 hour of my wait.

there’s really no reason to go here. it’s nothing but a big tourist trap. trust me.

Contrary to popular opinion, the Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World resides here, not on Ellis Island.
