Hunan University aka: 湖南大学

If you want to have a teaching experience in Changsha, Hunan University is one of the better places to go, or at least it was for me. It prides itself on being a 900-year old institution, as it was founded on the foundations, both physical and educational, of one of the seven ancient academies of imperial China. The campus is an open campus on the west bank of the Xiang river. It boasts some of the prettiest green spaces in the city in Yuelu Mountain, named after the ancient academy on which the university sits.
