Telford

Telford made up of towns, Ironbridge, Wellington, Coalbrookdale, Oakengates, Donnington, Hadley, Leegomerey, Telford Town Center, Madely and a bunch more I can not quite remember. Overflow town from Birmingham 1969, named after engineer Thomas Telford. Nice mix of small towns/villages and countryside, footpaths fields, oh and local pubs. Lived here 1979-1997 before moving to USA. Miss very much the simplicity of life here.

As far as new towns go, I’d prefer Milton Keynes! Telford is growing, and has a large industrial background. But for it’s residents there is not much to do unfortunately.
