Ted Drewes Frozen Custard

Because I’m afraid I’ll be seriously hated by St. Louis locals if I diss their favorite ice cream joint, and because my grandfather loved Ted Drewes.

...because Alton Brown recommended it in his recent series on “road food”.

So good. I went after a Cards game though, so it was PACKED!

I’ve been in St. Louis for school for seven months now, and I just made it to Ted Drewe’s today. It was amazing… and SO worth the wait.

I’ve heard so many good things about Ted Drewes, and yet I’ve never gone there. The next time I’m in St. Louis, I WILL make a point of going there!

Drew’s has been around since I can remember from my grandfather bringing it to me on our weekend visits together as a child. To being a teenager hanging out with my friends. To taking my daughter for her very first Drew’s Custard. It is always a good time although once the weather gets warmer the line is very long but well worth the waite.

I went after a Cardinals game with my bf (he’s from STL area I am from KC) so it was my first experience with Ted Drewes. It was excellent! They were so packed, but the lines went so fast. It was a great experience and the frozen custard was excellent too. :-D

This is the one place where all locals bring their out of town guests, but locals go there, too. The concretes are the best in STL.

Yes, I’ve been to the infamous Ted Drewes Frozen Custard. It was quite the experience.

We went there on the way back from a Switchfoot concert, and it was the best darn frozen custard I’ve ever had!
