Bedford

on the way back to virginia beach from vt, my family and i stopped 11 places, and bedford was one of them for the d-day memorial

it wasnt much but the tour had a lot of information

i live in philly, my dad and his side of the family lives here. i visit once in a while but its a 6 hour ride. his house has a huge front yard AND back yard, but the only bad thing is, no houses are that close by and you have to drive to get anywhere.

Its a small town, not a great place to live if you are under 40. Its beautiful, the mountains, country, and old falling apart places. The peaks and D-day is the only intresting things around, unless you really like Wal-mart.

For a couple of years when I was in grade school, we lived in Bedford, VA. The scenery was beautiful. I’m sure it’s changed quite a bit, but the mountains are gorgeous.
