Orange County aka: O.C.

Since I live here, at times OC can seem quite claustrophobic and I get such an overwhelming desire to move away. It can be depressing with all the strip malls and lack of culture! OC can be extremely superficial and nuevo riche and republican!

Despite these feelings and negative characteristics, it is a beautiful place to live and at times, you really don’t realize how perfect the weather and the beach are because you’ve taken it for granted… or how u can easily drive to the beach and then to the mountains and then to the desert all in one weekend. I grew up here and despite my frustration with this place, it will always feel like home.

All in all, OC has the beautiful scenery and can use some interesting people and some culture… so come and visit us!!!

This place changed my life because I was born here. For as long as I can remember, my Dad and I have been taking the 13 hour drive down there to see friends and family. It was always a blast because I got feel the warmth of the sun and see the happy faces of loved ones.

It’s worth visiting to go to D-land and the beach. Some of the beaches are really pretty there. It’s mostly all suburban and some people are really materialistic and status conscience there (of course, not everyone).

I think Orange County is adorable! Very pretty! I loved Balboa Island – the cutest!

There was this lame tv show called “Oblivious” and my family and I were caught live in it surprisingly while asking the valet attendant (really, the undercover tv host) to get our vehicle. he asked us questions and the more we got right the more $$$ we got. Anyway, we kept on asking why our car was taking so long and when it finally got driven up to us the guy told us we were caught on a tv game show and we didnt believe him so we got in our vehicle and thats when he LAID DOWN IN FRONT OF OUR BIG EXCURSION and wouldnt let us leave and was making a big scene. only then did we get out and he handed us over hundreds of dollars. we then went to like the biggest mall i’ve ever seen and spent all the money.

its a beautiful place to visit. Especially at night! I would say any disney park is worth visiting

i love it here. Not just because of Disneyland all all that. But it’s really nice and i wish i could go back soon.

I went to Orange County last summer. My parents lived here before I was born and I was supposed to be born in Seal Beach before my dad got transferred to Virginia. The beach-parts of Orange County are magical. Being out at the pier in Seal Beach, looking back at the coast, I realized that there was no need to be uptight about things. I’ve been a lot more laid back ever sense.

I’ve been there once, and am in the process of getting funds together to move there. It’s pretty much dab in the middle of everything, and has some pretty areas. Also a lot more jobs then where I’m coming from, which is my biggest reason for wanting to make the move.
