Boston Symphony is one of the “Big Five” American Orchestras (Boston, Chicago, Cleveland (!), New York, and Philadelphia). If you want to hear one of the greatest orchestras of the world, go to a concert at the Symphony Hall and hear the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Don’t let anyone to tell you to “just buy a recording instead” – there is no substitute for hearing this wonderful orchestra live in their home concert hall.
