its neat to be in lloydminster, because as mentioned it is on the border between alberta and sask.

Sadly, there isn’t much to do in Lloyminster … but if you’re feeling kinda Homer Simpson-ish that day, feel free to go to the border crossing and yell ‘Alberta!’ before jumping over the border and yelling ‘Saskatchewan!’ as soon as you land. Some people can be amused by that for HOURS.

But seriously, if you’re shopping in Lloyd and heading to Saskatchewan stock up on everything as you don’t have to pay PST there. And the drinking age is 18, not 19, so buy your booze there as well!

i’ve lived in lloydminster for 19…yes 19 years. ppl call it canada’s only border city because…well. its canadas only border city. lloydminster straddles both provinces of alberta and saskatchewan. whopee.
