Calexico

Had to check it out because I was nearby (at the Salton Sea). I’m sure it’s not a bad place to live, but there don’t seem to be many reasons to visit (other than the novelty of being at the border).

I lived here for 8 years, and I thought it was nice. It’s on the border and it feels like everyone’s Hispanic or has some Hispanic blood. I liked it because it was a small town… now it’s burst a bit… i.e. has a mall, brand name stores, etc.

Calexico is my home…i love it. some people say that there isnt much to do, but believe me, there is. slowly its growing, which is good.

Worth visiting because it’s home, not much else. It is a rapidly growing community, though. On the Mexican border across from Mexicali.
