Fort Gordon

went here for my MOS training again lots of memorys made some life long friends some who i hung out with in Korea
good duty station to be at wouldnt mind being there again
nothing to great about the are tho in my opinion

Only been here once.
My family is from Augusta and Fort Gordon is built on their old plantation. The old Hardin cemetery is located on the grounds.

I didn’t really see much of the city – Augusta – but what I did see was wonderful. The Hooters and strip joints were full of very beautiful women. And they sold booze to just about anyone. Hey gimme a break I was 19! And they didn’t check ID at the motels either.
