YUM!

I’ve only been to the location on Divisadero between Hayes and Fell, but the food I had there was absolutely amazing!!

My whole family loves this place, even though I am the only vegan one.

five stars.

A review of this place: so many better options

it’s good, the desserts are pretty good here but the food is just alright…

there are so many better vegetarian or vegetarian friendly options so close by that there’s no reason to really go here.

the menu is really diverse, but the faux ethnic food is not nearly as exciting as it reads on paper. mostly it’s a little bland. if you want thai, osha right down the street is so much more flavorful, there’s an indian place next door, a cheesesteak shop that serves seitan sandwiches right around the corner, and of course there’s cha ya, a vegan japanese place a few blocks down valancia- the food there is much more creative and satisfying. also if you want this kind of diversity in the menu, try cafe gratitude, less than a mile away…

if you end up there, carrot cake is decent (could be moister), and pie is very yummy – they serve maggie mudd’s vegan ice cream, which is great, but why not just go to maggie mudds?

A rumor about this place

They are putting one of these on Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley. I am very happy about this. I definitely miss living within walking distance from here.

The first time I went to this place

i got a bloody mary which was pretty odd tasting. i don’t know what was wrong with it exactly but i was disappointed in it. i got the coconut soup which was pretty good. most of the veggies were practically raw, which was okay with me. i also got the roasted portabella mushroom sandwich which was juicy and tasty but tore the roof of my mouth apart. injury lasted three days or so. would like to go back sometime and have the lentil loaf with mashed taters. they have an online menu.
