Quakecon

I first went when it was at the Gaylord in 2005, went last year when it was at the Hilton Anatole, and might go again this year, but it’s expensive to travel out there every year.

Definitely worth checking out at least once, if you are at all any type of computer gamer. Free entertainment, prizes, free food (sometimes), t-shirts, nerds everywhere, super-fast internet, file-sharing on the network…

but I didn’t make it. Quakecon isn’t a particular place, but a convention held in Texas every year. I’ve told myself to save all this year so that I can go next year. Let’s see if I can do it.
