The pizza at all hours of the night is FANTASTIC! The food was really good. Being a vegetarian is very difficult when traveling, but this was great! I had to eat mostly at the buffet, but hey! They had a crepe bar! I loved the Flamenco Especiale…it was a pepto-bismol looking beverage, but it was tasty. The beach was gorgeous. the pools were beautiful. Get up early to snag a seat in the shade, and wear a ton of sunscreen! The place is boiling in July.

our room got broken into and some of my stuff got stolen, but otherwise this was an awesome resort.

went in june of 06, for the price it was unbeatable, i dont know how we got it so cheap but it worked out nice

My husband and I visited the Allegro in May 2005 via Air Canada vacations and were overall pleased with our experience. For the price, it was a fair all-inclusive vacation. Our timing was perfect, we missed the crowds from April and the rain of June. The beach was beautiful, always lots of unbrellas. The food was fair – not gourmet, but for someone with a finicky stomach, I had no problems at all. Only issues were: our first weekend there was a flood of mainlanders that filled the place and the resort catered to them for a few days, the service wasn’t top notch and the vendors were a bit annoying, but overall it was good value and good sun, food and relaxation.
