I've been there a couple of weeks ago by Angie

But forgot to tick this off my list. It was very formal (I was with a colleague and a PR guy, who invited us for tea there). I had a lovely piece of chocolate cake and didn’t have the world famous scones. Had a very good cappuccino too. But didn’t get to see the exhibition – it was closing already. If I’m in the area with someone new to London, I’d get back and do the full works.

Had champagne tea there on my birthday by MFM

The foyer is lovely – art deco and comfy with a Dale Chihuly chandelier. Even the ladies room is gorgeous. It was a classic London experience to have tea there – 4 kinds of sandwiches, 2 types of scones with clotted cream and a variety of cakes.
