Worth visiting!
The first time I went to this place
I had it in mind to visit this museum for years and when in London recently for a two day ‘mini-hols’ found that I was staying very near its location.
I was thoroughly impressed. The Churchill Museum and War Cabinet Rooms exhibition has to be one of the best exhibits I have ever seen and/or experienced. Experienced is the operative word, here.
The entire complex is designed to create, as best as possible, an experience of the times and they curators have done an excellent job. Sound effects, a well designed audio tour – even a sign encouraging you to ‘get your daily rations at the canteen’. When I did get a cup of tea, I had to inform the young lady I had forgotten my ration book at home. She served me regardless. :)
Go! You won’t regret it.

Worth visiting!
One of the coolest museums ever
Set in the middle of the very interesting Cabinet War Rooms, the Churchill museum covers Winston Churchill’s life and career from every aspect. The exhibit is fascinating and makes use of all kinds of interactive displays. The middle of the room has a timeline where visitors can access information on what happened on any specific day in Churchill’s life & the entire display lights up for certain historical events (such as firworks and champagne corks on 1/1/1900). Do you know what whiskey was Churchill’s preferred brand? I do now. Check this place out.
