Great ghost town by Michael
Very cool place to visit. Lots to do here, hiking, camping, fishing, four wheeling. Lots of fantastic trails of all difficulty ranges from hard (Iron Chest) to easy (Tincup Pass). Fishing up at Clear Lake via fairly easy trail (Tincup Pass) and several other spots nearby on 4×4 trails.
The town itself is a great example of a ghost town, a mini adventure on its own. Check the general store, feed the squirrels across the street (well, it is private land; normally you wouldn’t do this in the true wild), walk around the area and see some more buildings and antiques. Heck, you can even stay in the hotel.
This is one of my very favorite areas in Colorado, right up there with Ouray/Silverton.
Ignore the pics of the steakhouse, not sure what that is all about.
