Salida

Salida is surrounded by mountains. It’s beautiful, and there are many interesting things to see and do. We always have to go up Spiral Drive for the view. There is river rafting nearby. The jeep tours are fun. We enjoy horseback riding on the mountain trails; it’s so peaceful up there and of course there are breathtaking views around every bend. There are great places to shop and to dine. We especially love the Country Bounty – good food and homemade pies, plus a charming gift shop to browse in.

so worth visiting! small town but has a lot of fun cool people. go to the river in the summer, go skiing in the winter, take long walks by the river on the spring and on fall.

have a lunch at bongo billy’s or laughting ladies, tasty food.

If you want to visit a small town with great people, food, and character then you should take time to see Salida. It has mild weather in the winter and great rafting in the summer. A great place to rejuvenate and explore your artistic interests in you have them because everywhere you look you can be inspired.
