How this place changed my life  — 1 year ago

Worth visiting!

A few things to say about Easton. First off, downtown needs some work. I think it has such a nice feel, it’s just really run down. The State Theater is like MY place and all the antique shops just really make me smile, but the thing is the government should work more on improving it. It could be a little New York with some work. Secondly, the reason they probablly aren’t worrying too much about it’s improvement is because they focus so much on flooding. It’s terrible. Thirdly, I think tourists should come here not just because of the Crayola factory and State Theatre and all those other attractions, but they should also come because of the people. I know a lot of really down to earth very kind people who genuinely care about you. Maybe it’s because I used to live here, but I would totally recomend this to someone on a road trip or something as a stop. It’s pleasant, and it ALWAYS makes me smile. Now every time I walk out the door I remember where I am and how it’s made me think of people differently.

Worth visiting!

Easton is a fair-sized city with a lot going on. It’s very industrial so it can be pretty depressing in some spots, and it’s a pain in the butt to drive around in—lots of one-way streets and narrow streets with not enough parking.

However, there are some really cool things in Easton. The Crayola factory, for one. The State Theatre Center for the Arts. The Museum of Pez Dispensers. Lots of other stuff.

Due to the industrial quality of the city and the traffic problem, it’s not somewhere I’d want to live, but it’s definitely good for a full day of stuff to do.
