Fringe Festival

I can’t wait for this summer! My school just finished up doing A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum last week and we’re taking it to the American High School Theatre Festival, that will be at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! I’m so excited!

I’d never been on holiday by myself. I bit the bullet and went to the Fringe, figuring I liked comedy so could keep myself busy. It’s the best holiday I’ve ever had! Not only are there such a diverse number of shows around you can’t help but do something every minute of the day, but everyone is there for the same reason, and it’s so easy to talk to comlete strangers – and I’m not the most confident of people. I’m already booked to go again this year and can’t wait. If you’ve ever thought about it and can’t decide, go. Because this is one place you’ll regret not going to!

Even if you don’t go to the shows, just walking the Royal Mile during the day is entertaining!

I was in two shows in the fringe last year, Yeti the musical and Elegies for Angels Punks and Raging Queens. it was outstanding! I loved it, everything from flyering to performing on the streets to the show, outstanding months! woohooo

Saw 11 shows in 3 days was amazing you gotta go

I was in the Radisson Hotel Suite… God, this event was amazing. I played Ethel P Savage in The Curious Savage my sophomore year of high school, 2004.

I love Edinburgh in August. For three weeks, the city goes mental, as comedians, artists and bizarros congregate for the funnest arts festival in the world.

the city goes a bit crazy and its wonderful. Highly recommend it to any art/theatre/music buffs out there.
