Warren Wilson College

I just graduated from WWC in 2006… and I miss it a lot! And I only live 15 minutes away. Go to Wilson, go to the Farm, hike up to Dogwood and along the River Trail… drink beers at Schafer. Tell them I sent you.

Changed my life! Went there in the early 80’s. It is where hippy clothes go when they die… dye. Whatever. I think that there is always a girl there wearing the same hippy clothes I got out of and put back into the share barrel 25 years ago. Trends come and go, but those patched up bell bottom blue jeans are forever, man.
Beside the clothes, the attitude, learning a work ethic, and eating garden grown veggies… there are these really cute smelly piglets on the farm. It is communism (hush) at its most (hush some more) effective (shut your mouth) level. All students work at all jobs for the common good… and at the exact same rate of compensation (I’ve said too much).

wwc is totally an awesome collage. tons of instresting people go here, plus the collage student dress like 60’s and 70’s hippies! cool huh? plus theres a contra dance every thursday at the byson gym from 7:30-11:00pm! I love contra dancing!
