Northport

It’s really not that bad. Nothing special, but not horrible or anything. They do have Dreamland Barbeque there, though. And Northport is not a university town. Tuscaloosa is. I do have student friends who live in Northport, though.

This place is extremely dull for a “university town”....

All it does is thunderstorm around here—every month there’s a tornado warning!

Locals are curiously preoccupied with other people’s business! They also move slower than my grandma! I waited 35 minutes to get 2 hamburgers at a burger joint. They’re slow mentally as well and don’t know much about the world outside this town…oh, and best of all if you’re not watching (or playing) football you are expected to pray! What the crap is that all about?
