Didnt go inside, but what i could see through the gates was really neat. If I go back to Firenze this is on my list

This museum houses a less famous statues of David, by Donatello, as well as several other works by that artists. Billed in my guide books as the most important museum in Florence after the Uffizi, I was suprised and glad for the complete lack of a line. While we visited, David was being restored, but rather than hide him away, they were doing the work right where the statue regularly stands. They had laid the bronze statue on a table. Also not to be missed were several works by Michealangelo.
