Worth visiting!
Why I recommend this place to visitors
The desert, although being my first time in one, seemed like a desert! It is true that being able to look as far as the eye can see is amazing, but you can get that at Petra.
The thing I loved the most was really just sleeping in the middle of the desert with just a blanket and a mattress. The way the sky looks at night… it is unforgetable.

Hmm…I think if you hire a good guide then the experience can be a lot more interesting.
Coming from Australia – where there’s rather a lot of desert – Wadi Rum was interesting but not spectacular.

A review of this place: Wadi Rum
Extraordinary place! Truly amazing. Spend the night under the stars in a bedouin campsite. Okay, the bedouin campsite part is a bit touristy, but this place remains as natural as it gets, and when you’re lying in your sleeping bag on the desert sand and looking up at a zillion stars you just won’t care.
